GOOD MORNING!!
Start Your Morning Off on the Right Foot
Many of us find it hard to go through our daily tasks and chores with the right attitude. When we are living in a world surrounded by negativity, anger, hatred, and frustration. It can be challenging to see the bright side of things.
Well let me help you change that outlook, with some simple steps that have transformed my perspective of the world on a day-to-day basis.
—Start your morning off with some deep breaths and stretching
I used to roll out of bed and go straight to my morning bathroom routine without any thought. Finally one day I decided to change things up with a simple change. I started by slowly getting out of bed, going into my living room, and doing some simple breathing exercises while sitting or even lying on the floor. Some of you might even consider some simple yoga positions as your preferred method of stretching.
—A tall glass of water
I found that by simply drinking a glass of water would help me wake up and refresh my body after a long nights rest. You could add lemon and/or cucumber to add some refreshing flavor.
—Showering in the morning and at night
Showering in the morning helps your body wake up, clean up, and be refreshed for the daily grind ahead. Now I have met people that have said, “well I take a shower at night”. This is just fine but you could still find favor in showering in the morning as well. There is nothing the matter with two showers a day, one to start the day and one to wash the day away.
—Personal Positive Perspective
The 3 P’s as I like to call it, is my last step in starting my morning on the right foot. For my personal positive perspective, it is simply three uplifting words which I repeat to myself either while getting ready for the day or before walking out the door. This statement is: I AM: Beautiful, Strong and Capable. By repeating this statement out-loud to myself every morning, I find I have a better outlook on the negativity which comes my way. Now your “personal positive perspective” can be one word, multiple words, a statement, or even longer. Just find something that helps boost your inner positivity to guide you through the day.
Well I hope you have enjoyed this post and find it useful in getting your day started off for the BETTER.

Mrs. Dellagranda
