Happy Gotcha Day Baylee!!

A year ago today, around this time...
We got YOU Baylee boo!


Baylee has been our side-kick in "crime" for the past year. 

It all started like this, we drove a little over an hour from New York to New Jersey to pick her up. She was playing with another dog in a kennel. She was just about four months old and full of energy. Her first night with us she chewed through a light cord. Yikes! Then it was shoe laces followed by a few pairs of shoes. She peed on her dog bed seconds after we got it into the house. The "bathroom breaks" continued to happen in our apartment. Michael and I were loosing patience but we stuck with it and she now lets us know when she needs to go out. I take her out early in the morning and Michael takes her out late in the evening. She continues to keep us on our toes and our hearts continue to melt when she comes over to cuddle with us on the couch. Baylee is friendly with everyone, maybe a bit too much, as her energetic jumping gives people the wrong idea about her.
