Let's Get...
Organized for 2017
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Hey everybody, I hope you are all getting set for what 2017 will hold for you personally as I know I have been busy getting ready for all the work ahead of me. And to do so, I needed to find the right tool which would allow me to flow from one task to another. This tool had to give me the ease of going from one thing to the next, without getting lost in the process. I needed to be able to carry this tool from one place to another. A tool which was useful, easy to use, while at the same time "happy" and inspired CREATIVITY.
WHAT COULD THIS TOOL BE??
I introduce you to my...
HAPPY PLANNER!!
Over the last few months I did some research to find the best fitting planner. Yes it took weeks as you'd be surprised at the planner options that are out there for one to choose. Now I know we are in the digital age with the technology to have a calendar in our phones, laptops, tablets, smart watches, etc. Call me "old school" but I get joy and satisfaction from writing appointments/tasks/lists down on paper. Having something written and visual for me to look at and then check off when it is done. Doing the simple check mark or line makes me feel so much MORE accomplished in my life. You have to enjoy the simple things in life, right? While I was doing my research for my planner, I became aware of 3 MAJOR options:
Erin Condren
Heidi Swapp
Create 365: Happy Planner
All of these planners are bright, "happy" and inspire creativity while at the same time offering personalization options specific to the brand. Let me offer a few points for each planner brand, below.
Erin Condren:
-Name Personalization on cover
-Two possibilities for planner binding
-Various planner sizes
-Different calendar layouts
Heidi Swapp:
-Various planner styles
-Large variety of materials(stickers, clips, etc) to make planner VERY personal
-Scrapbook style
Happy Planner:
-Various planner sizes
-Different calendar layouts
-Personal calendar layout options(i.e. budget planner, fitness, home planner, even a wedding planner)
-Large variety of material
As you can see there are similarities with these three planners as well as differences which make the planner specific to the brand. Each one gives you the materials to make your planner truly personal to you! Such as stickers, pens, clips, calendar layouts, fonts, etc. Now depending on your price point, the initial purchase of materials and material "up keep" would be a big factor to consider.
For me the happy planner was the right price and would allow me to purchase materials in the future without breaking the bank, which makes my husband happy. And the calendar layout options had a greater variety, in fact I bought the fitness planner layout to add to my Happy Planner. Also I felt the Erin Condren planner wasn't as personal as the Happy Planner. And the Heidi Swapp was more of a scrapbooking planner. Now don't get me wrong, ALL of these planner options are great and offer their own perks and "issues". But I chose the Happy Planner for me because it fit my needs and offered me the options I desired.
Come & Experience Life with Me,
Mrs. Dellagranda
